As a Building Inspector here, no two days are the same. This is a highly reactive enforcement role, where you’ll use your expertise to:

  • Investigate unauthorised works,

  • Major University campus developments
  • Luton & Dunstable Hospital redevelopment
  • Exciting new housing growth across the borough

And we’re proud to say our work has been recognised with LABC Awards, showcasing the innovation and quality our team delivers.

Please note this role does not attract sponsorship.

About you

You’ll be:

  • Registered with the Building Safety Regulator as a Building Inspector,
  • Competent in Class 2 projects (A–F categories depending on role level),
  • Experienced in technical assessments, site inspections, and decision-making,
  • Knowledgeable in construction methods, building regs, and compliance standards,
  • Proactive, adaptable, and ready to thrive in a reactive enforcement environment.
