What you’ll be doing
Creating and editing content for online platforms is at the heart of this role, using content design principles, accessibility standards, and web best practice guidelines. A strong understanding of different communications channels and what makes content engaging is essential, enabling the development of high-quality digital outputs that effectively connect with users and promote the work of committees.
The role also includes sourcing and producing audio-visual content, such as photography, graphics, and basic video, as well as commissioning more in-depth video projects when required. This ensures a varied and professional digital presence that reflects the importance and impact of committee work.
Alongside content creation, there is a strong emphasis on collaboration and support. The role involves advising committee staff on content design and accessibility, and helping them build confidence in using digital tools, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and high standards across the organisation.
