We are looking for a key member of our team to promote travel options to new residents, at an important transitional point in their lives, when they are considering new travel routes and modes.
Working closely with transport planning, economic development, public health, developers, sales executives, estate agents, and local residents; you will provide new residents with the right information to make informed travel choices, be it for work, leisure or general utility trips. Using social media, marketing and travel planning you will ensure local residents are aware of the facilities and provision on their door step to any destination.
As part of the next round of LSTF delivery starting in April 2015, the successful candidate will work across the North Somerset district, with particular focus within two large new housing developments in Weston-super-Mare. The role will be based in the Town Hall in Weston-super-Mare, with some occasional work in Castlewood, Clevedon.
Able to work successfully as part of a multi-disciplinary and sub-regional team, the successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels. Self-motivated and highly organised, you will be educated to degree level and bring several years of experience in sustainable transport, business, marketing or education with a sound knowledge of transport planning.
