Community Learning Manager - Connect to Work
Connect to Work, part of Pathways to Work, is a voluntary, locally commissioned, Supported Employment programme. It provides intensive, holistic support for people who are disabled, have long-term health conditions or complex non-health related barriers to work. Participants do not need to be on benefits and Connect to Work supports both people who are keen to find work and individuals who are in work but at risk of falling out of work as a result of their condition or barrier.
We seek 2 x managers to lead and oversee local delivery of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) and the Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF) models, ensuring consistent practice, high‑quality employment support, and alignment with WMCA commissioning expectations and Dudley’s multi‑year Integrated Settlement delivery plan.
Role will require travel to various sites around the Dudley Borough, meeting stakeholders, Community Employment Specialists and Employment Engagement Teams.
Previous experience of managing teams delivering an IPS service is essential as the role will require line managing IPS Employment Specialists and SEQF staff (FTE levels as defined in the delivery plan), ensuring role clarity, reflective supervision, and ongoing workforce development aligned to fidelity standards. This would include field mentoring and observations to ensure continuous improvement.
