Working as part of the Building Safety team, you'll help ensure our homes remain safe, compliant and meet all statutory fire safety requirements.

The Role

  • Fire door inspection and replacement programmes
  • Emergency lighting inspections
  • Fire alarm servicing
  • Dry risers and wet risers
  • Smoke control systems
  • Fire signage and associated fire safety works

You'll work closely with contractors, residents and internal teams to ensure inspections and remedial works are delivered safely on time and to a high standard.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinate planned fire safety inspections and remedial works.
  • Schedule contractors and manage appointments.
  • Liaise with residents to arrange access.
  • Raise works orders and monitor progress through to completion.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and evidence.
  • Monitor contractor performance and support KPI reporting.
  • Produce reports and management information.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and resolve enquiries promptly.

About you

You'll be organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You'll have:

  • Strong administrative and coordination skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills, including Excel and database systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with contractors and colleagues.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving.

Experience within fire safety, compliance, housing, construction or property maintenance would be an advantage but isn't essential.
