About the Role
We're looking for a professional, customer‑focused Concierge to join our team at RMG. As the first point of contact for residents and visitors, you'll be the welcoming face of the development, delivering excellent front‑of‑house service while ensuring the building remains safe, secure, and well‑managed.
Where Will I Be Working?
Site based at a development in York (YO31)
Working Pattern
37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 PM
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing a warm, professional welcome to all residents and visitors
- Responding to queries and offering helpful information on the local area
- Handling telephone enquiries courteously and professionally
- Accepting, organising, and managing deliveries
- Signing in/out contractors and checking their completed works
- Inform Management team of all matters which may affect the Residential Management Company.
- Deal with all add on services required by the client, including but not limited to;
- General P.A office administration by the client.
- Assisting with rental property key handovers.
- Reporting to the client any demised apartment issues not relating to the building.
- Recording all activity, including resident complaints and incidents
- Ensuring noticeboards and building signage are up to date
- Liaising daily with the Property/Building Manager and supporting inspections
- Developing strong knowledge of building services, installations, and facilities
- Keeping the concierge desk/office clean, tidy, and well‑presented
- Supporting residents' meetings where required
- Assisting with rental key handovers and reporting any apartment‑specific concerns
- Taking ownership of daily standards and proactively addressing issues
What We're Looking For
- Experience working in a front‑of‑house, residential, or customer‑service role
- Excellent communication and customer‑care skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Self‑motivated and able to use initiative
- Calm, courteous, and professional under pressure
- Smart, professional appearance with consistently high personal standards
- Ability to work well independently or as part of a wider team
