Salary: £32,070 - £34,359 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) (Pay award pending)

Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract Type: 12 Months Fixed Term

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established Digital Services Team as a skilled Granicus Forms Designer.

Digital forms are a key element in achieving a channel shift to online and make use of effective technology. The work itself will entail

  • Work with service managers and subject matter experts to design, build and maintain Granicus digital forms aligned to service objectives and process improvements
  • Lead the digitisation of paper forms and enhance existing forms to meet evolving business needs
  • Use data and insight to design, test and refine user journeys, ensuring services are easy to find and complete online
  • Advise, guide and constructively challenge stakeholders to improve processes and outcomes
  • Support the delivery of digital projects and work packages, ensuring quality standards and timelines are met
  • Keep up to date with best practice in forms development and promote continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with departments, Business Intelligence and the Customer Service Centre to drive channel shift to online services
  • Build strong working relationships with Information and Technology teams to support service transformation

About You

To apply for this post, you must:

  • Possess a relevant degree or the skills and experience in designing, writing, editing and publishing online content and online forms, whilst following quality standards, design principles, accessibility requirements and best practice.
  • Generate solutions to straightforward and complex problems, and be able to present and provide support, advice, and relevant recommendations to non-specialist staff in a way that it can be understood.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills when supporting the development of a quality digital service, in line with business need, and working with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Investigate issues, devise solutions, and pursue principles for ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Be able to plan your work, working on multiple priorities whilst ensuring you are adhering to set deadlines.
  • Possess knowledge of current legislative requirements, governance and relevant policies and procedures associated with the management of online content.
  • Be able to use a range of research and information to provide clear recommendations
