
Contract Supervisor
We are recruiting a Contract Supervisor at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Team: Asset Maintenance and Repairs
This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organization.
We pay an attractive salary of £45,718 - £48,710 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
The post holder will be expected to Support the Planned Asset Maintenance Manager in the delivery of the Welsh Housing Quality Standard (WHQS). You will manage and supervise external contractors and a large In-House workforce including agency staff.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Planned Asset Maintenance Manager to assist in business planning objectives to improve planned works in accordance with corporate and divisional directives and objectives.
You will deliver a customer focused approach in accordance with the objectives set by the Council and in its WHQS Programme and have an excellent work ethic.
You must have an excellent work ethic, good communication skills, and a dynamic approach to the role and be able to lead by example.
For the role, we ask that you have:
- A Relevant Level 4 or 5 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. For example HNC or HND in Construction / ILM / NVQ Level 5 in Management.
- The ability to plan and implement service improvement changes, this will include preparing and presenting reports.
- Experience of dealing with the public, resolving queries / problems or giving advice.
