The Council is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated person to the role of Contract Supervisor.

You will work with Kent County Council, Parish and Town Councils, the Police, Community Payback, volunteer groups and others to improve the standard of the street scene in Dartford. You will be conmtributing to the development of the Council’s contracted services in accordance with the aspirations of residents, councillors, and changing resources, legislation and guidance.

Duties include:

• Supervising, monitoring and managing our contracts for refuse collection, recycling, street cleaning, graffiti removal, public convenience cleaning and other works
• To ensure that all works are carried out satisfactorily and to schedule, and that all health and safety and other requirements are met.
• To liaise closely with residents, contractors and others to resolve problems with the provision of contracted services within agreed timescales
• To ensure that the required levels of service are provided within the resources available.

Due to the varied nature of the post, the successful candidate must have their own car, as well as a full UK Driving Licence.
