The Post
The Council recently procured both an Integrated Waste Contract and a Grounds Maintenance Contract to provide key front-line services to Brent residents. The delivery of essential services like waste collection, waste processing, street cleansing, winter maintenance, maintaining Brent’s Parks and Green Spaces etc. sits at the heart of these two contracts. We are now looking to recruit to this exciting role to provide administration and contract support to the Contracts Manager and contribute towards providing an efficient waste collection and grounds maintenance service to Brent residents.
The postholder will support the contracts manager in facilitating and minuting contract meetings, maintaining and reviewing contract records including performance indicators, programme of works, carrying out financial transactions, liaising with different stakeholders and keeping all parties informed and updated of intended works.
The postholder will work closely with several contractors, internal and external partners, and our communities’ in identifying needs and trends for service improvement and to help achieve the Council’s Borough Plan priorities for A Cleaner, Greener Future.
The PersonWe are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual who is committed to making a difference and who can contribute to the delivery of the Council’s Public Realm functions.
You will have experience of providing administrative support to managers and act as the first point of contact for councillors, internal and external stakeholders. You will have good communication and interpersonal skills to be able to deal with day to day issues.

Salary range
- £37,692 - £39,276 per year
