Do you have a desire to offer excellent customer service and improve the delivery of the Council’s services?

Mid Sussex are seeking a proactive and detail-orientated Contracts Support Officer to join the Contracts and Service's team. In this role, you will provide vital administrative and coordination support for the effective management and delivery of a number of services managed by the team, including the provision of green spaces, tree management, waste & street cleansing services, garden waste services, parking and leisure.

You will act as a key link between internal teams, external partners and service providers.

You will be office based, with the flexibility to work from home on agreed days.

About you

To be successful in the role you will have:

Significant office experience, undertaking an administrative/customer service role.

Able to organise own time effectively and work well under pressure and within tight deadlines.

Methodical approach with good accuracy and attention to detail.

Experience of handling sensitive and confidential information.

Public sector experience desirable.

We are looking for a confident and motivated self starter with an appetite for learning.

You will need to be organised and able to work both independently and as part of a busy team. You will also be a key point of contact for our suppliers and customers so you will have excellent communication and organisaional skills
