What will you be doing?

About UsMeadowside is a small residential service offering short breaks for people aged 16 and over with a learning disability and/or autism. We provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where individuals can enjoy meaningful experiences.

About the RoleWe are seeking a Cook to join our team. You will play a key role in preparing nutritious meals and adapting dishes to meet individual dietary needs. This is more than just cooking – you’ll work alongside the people we support and support staff, teaching basic skills and involving them in meal and snack preparation.Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the efficient running of the kitchen.
• Complying with Health and Safety and Food Hygiene standards.
• Checking and maintaining kitchen equipment.
• Ordering and managing supplies.

Requirements

• Level 2 qualification in Food Safety (or willingness to achieve this).
• A catering qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
• Required to work alternate weekends and evenings.
• Right to work in the UK.
