Role Overview: We are seeking to recruit a full-time Counter Fraud Investigator to join our Audit and Risk function (which is part of Corporate Services). In this role, you will play an important role in safeguarding the integrity and financial assets of the Council and be responsible for conducting investigations into allegations of fraud, corruption, and financial misconduct.
Key Candidate Attributes:
Experience of working in Counter Fraud and undertaking fraud investigations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team showing initiative and proactive thinking.
Self-motivated, driven, and dedicated to delivering high-quality work.
Strong ethical integrity and personal resilience.
Leave Entitlement: 28 days per annum, increasing to 33 days after 5 years of service

Salary range
- £31,586 - £35,235 per year
