
Customer Finance Assistant
Job Description
Salary: £26,556 - £28,764 per annum (pro rata to hours worked as part-time) Grade B Permanent Contract 18.5 Hours per WeekThe Customer Finance Department is an extremely busy area with high levels of demand. We deal with all financial aspects of care delivered to the community, from Homecare, Day-care and Direct Payments to Residential care. The team raises invoices in the region of £13 million per annum in client contributions and feeds into & liaises with all areas of Adult Social Care.
The Finance Assistant will be responsible for booking all financial assessment appointments for Adult Social Care and liaising with the Senior Financial Assessment Officers regarding bookings, paperwork and other queries. The assistant will be responsible for managing a joint inbox, dealing with phone calls and letter queries. The assistant will also be involved in the day-to-day aspects of the team and deal with additional tasks if required.
We are looking for candidates who have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people including members of the public, over the phone & face to face and also high moral & professional standards.
