Cyber Security Specialist

Are you an experienced cyber security professional looking for an opportunity to make a real difference?

We are looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to join our Infrastructure Technology team. This is a key role within the council, helping to shape and oversee our cyber security approach while ensuring our systems, services and information remain secure.

Working closely with technical teams, senior managers and Information Governance colleagues, you will provide assurance over the council's cyber security controls, lead on security monitoring and incident response, support compliance with recognised frameworks and standards and help drive continuous improvement in our cyber security maturity.

You will also play an important role in managing cyber risk, influencing security decisions and supporting the delivery of technology projects and services.

We are looking for someone with significant experience in cyber security, risk management, assurance and compliance, together with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

You will be comfortable working with both technical and non-technical colleagues and able to provide clear advice and direction on complex cyber security matters.

This is an excellent opportunity to help shape the future cyber security direction of the council and play a leading role in protecting the systems and services that support the people and communities of North Lincolnshire.
