
Data Insight Analyst
Your typical day could start by extracting and transforming complex datasets, building dashboards in Power BI, or partnering with the business to understand what insights they need to improve performance. Later, you might be reviewing KPIs, developing new reporting tools, or interpreting trends to inform strategic decisions across the organisation.
What you’ll do
You’ll play a key role in providing the data, insights, and reporting tools that enable Peabody to make smarter, more informed decisions. Working across multiple teams, you’ll analyse diverse datasets, build dashboards, and generate meaningful insights that influence performance, strategy, and service delivery. You enjoy working with end users to understand how the business works and their information needs.
You’ll take ownership of delivering high-quality analysis, working closely with colleagues in Finance, Housing, IT, and Business Analysis to support Peabody’s mission of helping people flourish. Your work will directly improve operational efficiency, data quality, and decision making across the organisation.

You’re confident working with stakeholders, skilled at managing expectations, and comfortable translating technical analysis into clear recommendations. What you’ll need
Essential:
- Demonstrable experience using Power BI (or Tableau) to visualise and interpret data
- Experience writing and working with SQL
- Proven ability to extract, clean and transform large and complex datasets
- Strong analytical skills, able to identify patterns, trends and opportunities for improvement
- Experience analysing multiple datasets and producing strategic insights, visualisations, commentary and recommendations
- Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and understand stakeholder requirements
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Confident presenting findings and making recommendations
- Proven time management skills, able to balance multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Educated to degree level or demonstrable professional experience
Desirable:
- Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) certification
- Understanding of the social housing sector and its unique challenges and requirements preferable however not required. Awareness of performance monitoring and targets within the housing industry would be advantageous
This is a hybrid role working a minimum of 2 days a week at the Westminster Bridge Road office.
