Job summary

We are looking for a Data & MI Analyst to join the Customer Service Group (CSG) Resource Planning function. In this key role, you will deliver high-quality management information, reporting, and performance insights that support senior leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions.

Working closely with a range of stakeholders, you will develop and maintain dashboards, reporting packs, and analysis that improve operational performance and customer service outcomes.

Job description

As part of the Customer Service Group (CSG) Resource Planning function, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality management information, reporting, and analysis that supports effective decision-making and operational performance. You will develop and maintain reporting packs, dashboards, and performance insights, ensuring all outputs are accurate, timely, and underpinned by robust governance and quality assurance processes.

Using a range of analytical tools, including Power BI and Excel, you will identify trends, risks, and opportunities within performance data and provide clear, actionable insights to senior leaders. You will tailor reporting and analysis to meet stakeholder needs and help drive evidence-based decision-making.

Working closely with the SEO CSG Data Lead and Senior Leaders, and collaborating with other MI and analysis teams, you will build strong stakeholder relationships, support reporting requirements, and contribute to a consistent approach to management information across the Customer Support Group.

You will also play an active role in continuous improvement, helping to enhance reporting processes, promote best practice in data management and presentation, and support the development of capability within the Management Information team.


Person specification

To be successful in this role you should have the following technical skills and experience:

  • Experience developing and delivering MI reports, dashboards, or analysis (using systems such as Excel and Power BI).
  • Ability to analyse data, generate insights, and present findings clearly and with impact.
  • Experience applying validation and quality assurance techniques to ensure accuracy.
  • Proven experience providing MI or analysis to support operational or strategic decision making.
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders to understand requirements and shape outputs.
  • Strong team-working skills and ability to deliver at pace under tight deadlines.

Due to the nature of the role, occasional travel to HM Land Registry offices, including overnight stays, may be required to support cross-site meetings and stakeholder engagement.

Where an individual taking up the responsibility will be based in Swansea Office, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable.

Selection process details

This vacancy is using Success Profiles (opens in a new window), and will assess your Behaviours, Experience and Technical skills.
