Salary: Starting from £34,381 per annum (London weighted salary) or £30,386 per annum (Regional salary), dependant on experience

Grade: 6

Reporting Office: London, Stratford or Manchester, Trafford

Persona: Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working)

Join our Application Support Team at L&Q:

We have had an exciting opportunity open up for an FTC maternity cover as a Data Processing Lead. In this role you’ll take the lead in driving key manual data processes, guiding a team that plays a vital role in keeping the organisation running smoothly. You’ll help ensure data is accurate, complete, and expertly managed, empowering teams across the business to make confident decisions and achieve successful outcomes.

You’ll oversee the day-to-day delivery of data processing activities, supporting and motivating a team to input, maintain, validate, and manage data across multiple systems. Working collaboratively with colleagues across Data Management, IT, Application Support, Operations, and transformation teams, you’ll champion high standards of data quality and help shape efficient, reliable processes.

High-quality, well-managed data sits at the heart of informed decision making and excellent service delivery. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring data processing activities are completed efficiently, on time, and to a consistently high standard, giving teams across the organisation access to trusted information that supports business priorities and wider organisational success.

Initially reporting to the Head of Application Support, with a view to move line management to the Applications Services Manager.

Your impact in the role:

  • Lead and support a team of Data Processing Administrators.
  • Ensure data is entered, updated, and maintained accurately across systems and spreadsheets.
  • Review and validate data, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Carry out quality checks to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Maintain records, documentation, and reporting on data processing activity.
  • Work with teams across the organisation to support transformation goals and operational priorities.

What you'll bring:

Essential

  • Experience in data processing, administration, or similar roles.
  • Experience supporting or coordinating teams.
  • Strong Excel, spreadsheet, database, and data management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and data protection responsibilities.

Desirable

  • Experience in housing, transformation programmes, or similar environments.
  • Experience using CRM, housing management, or data entry systems.
  • Experience supporting reporting or data analysis activities.
