Internal Colleagues

  • Derbyshire Constabulary: All officers are reminded that their release to advertised roles is subject to final approval; This will be addressed through the Police Officer Deployment Panel, (PODP) to ensure resources are balanced between divisions and departments.
  • Derbyshire: The force is currently not supporting applications from detectives, and NIE qualified trainee detectives, for advertised roles that don’t require PIP2 qualification unless the advertisement specifies otherwise. This is due to current resourcing needs in roles that do require PIP2. The force continues to actively monitor this and will review the approach at the start of the next financial year.
