There couldn’t be a more exciting time to work at Merton Council. We are a borough on the rise, led by a fresh and ambitious new leadership, and armed with some of the boldest transformation plans in London.

Merton encompasses the towns of Colliers Wood, Mitcham, Morden and Wimbledon, and is home to a vibrant, growing population of more than 220,000. We are proud custodians of some of the best sporting heritage in the world.

Merton’s connectivity is unbeatable in south London. We are at the start of both the Northern and District Tube lines, which offer direct access into central London in just 20 minutes.

And, we’re a borough going places. We have a brand-new blueprint for the future that will see us unlock the full potential of our borough and build a better Merton together, putting the needs of our residents at the heart of everything we do.

That’s why we’re searching for the very best people to come and join us. These exciting new roles have been created to help us turn daring aspirations and progressive plans into an exceptional reality. Delivery Unit Analyst - fixed term contract for 18 months

The Delivery Unit Analyst is a critical role in the new team. You will use your existing skills of bringing meaning to complex data to provide the Chief Executive and Leader of the Council with the evidence to diagnose existing challenges to service delivery and formulate plans for improvement. You will be working alongside Merton Staff building on the strength and skills across the organisation for future delivery. You will support Delivery Unit Officers to take an evidence-led approach that will put qualitative and quantitative data together to get to the heart of why service delivery needs to improve and will present the data to the Chief Executive and Leader of the Council regularly to demonstrate progress on agreed improvement work.
