
Development Support Officer
We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Development Support Officer to join our London North Delivery Team. In this role, you’ll provide essential administrative support to both the Delivery and Land & Partnerships teams, helping to deliver a multi-tenure development programme. You’ll play a key part in coordinating documentation, managing data, and supporting internal processes that contribute to the success of our development projects. You will need to work collaboratively across internal Peabody teams to help us deliver an excellent experience every time to every customer.
You will be required to attend our offices a minimum of 2 days per week and on some occasions, there may be a requirement for out of hours working to support the team at planning exhibitions, consultant events and resident meetings.
What you'll do
On a day-to-day basis, you’ll manage a variety of administrative tasks including maintaining trackers, risk registers, scheme summaries, handover plans and processing/recording invoices. You’ll support the preparation of reports, grant submissions, and compliance documentation, and ensure accurate data entry across systems such as Pamwin and QL. You’ll coordinate meetings, manage diaries for senior leaders, and help with minute-taking, mail merges, and presentations. You’ll also liaise with internal and external stakeholders, support procurement and tender processes, contribute to the smooth handover of scheme information across the business and act as a contact for post-occupation queries. Your role will be key in ensuring our development projects are well-documented, compliant, and delivered efficiently.
What you'll need
- Strong IT skills, including advanced ability in Microsoft Office and document storage systems such as SharePoint.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, some of which could be at short notice.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail, with experience in minute-taking and stakeholder liaison.
- An initiative-taking, flexible and positive approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and excellent customer service.

Salary range
- £38,000 per year
