Description

Turn digital devices into vital evidence.

Join the team as a Digital Forensic Mobile DeviceTechnician and play a vital role in deliver an effective, efficient, and high‑quality service to colleagues, stakeholders, and the wider community.

In support of investigations, you’ll recover data from mobile phones and associated media, including repairing and restoring damaged devices to enable forensic examination. You’ll also attend court to present evidence, ensuring all work complies with relevant legislation and forensic standards.

We have one full-time, permanent role and two 12-month fixed term contracts available.

You’ll be

  • Recovering data from phones and associated media, reporting on this in line with legislation.
  • Preparing accurate and comprehensive reports and statements.
  • Deploying to scenes to preserve, record, photograph and recover forensic evidence.

You must have

  • Experience using several IT systems in a support, develop or forensics role.
  • An A-Level, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in a technology subject.
  • Knowledge of digital forensic techniques.
