Join us at the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) as a Digital Learning Administrator. The responsibility of this role is to provide high-quality administrative, customer, and project support across the Learning and Award function, contributing to the successful delivery of the Money Guiders Service. Money Guiders is an innovative, long-term system-change programme currently undergoing transformation to scale delivery across the UK. More information about the programme can be found here

The role sits within a team responsible for managing a suite of money guidance eLearning, learner assessments, digital credentials, and customer support. The Digital Learning Administrator will help ensure the smooth running of operational processes, learner support, and continuous improvement activity

You’ll be part of a dynamic team dedicated to helping people across the UK improve their financial wellbeing.

Job description

In this role you will be responsible for the following;

  • Support the Learning Management System (LMS) Coordinator with the daily administration of the Money Guiders Learning Hub, including resolving learner registration issues, suspending learner accounts, and making updates to learner data as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with the Money Guiders Relationship Management team, facilitating strong communications in support of excellent customer service and continuous improvement projects.
  • Contribute to regular reporting tasks and provide information to other Money Guiders workstreams as required.
  • Assist with managing and triaging stakeholder enquiries in collaboration with the LMS Coordinator to deliver excellent, seamless customer support.
  • Support data collection and preparation activities linked to data migration (for example as part of organisations undergoing TUPE processes, or in preparation for using new learning technologies), as requested by the Operations Manager or LMS Coordinator.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects, such as platform enhancements, implementation of organisational hierarchies, and rebranding activities.
  • Coordinate improvements in data quality across the Money Guiders team, including activities linked to inactive learner data and compliance with MaPS Data Governance standards.
  • Coordinate initiatives to increase digital credential retrieval rates through targeted learner communications.
  • Support the Digital Learning Coordinator with resolving and escalating issues that users experience when progressing their learning e.g. accessing content and completing assessments, involving liaison with suppliers and learners.
  • Provide administrative support for learner communications.
  • Develop and co-ordinate processes and protocols that improve the team’s operational performance, involving colleagues across MaPS.
  • Be an active Money Guiders team member, connecting and linking up with colleagues across the business to help make the whole programme a success.
  • Provide administrative support for meetings, including scheduling, minute-taking, and follow-up actions.
  • Undertake additional coordination and administrative duties as required, including supporting with invoice management, presentations, spreadsheets and other documentation.

Person specification

Essential:

You will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience;

  • Strong coordination and administrative skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a variety of internal and external stakeholders - a demonstrable commitment to customer care
  • Experience of a range of software packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Sharepoint, Teams and collaboration tools such as Miro.

Desirable:

  • An understanding of money guidance
  • Experience of administering Learner Management Systems
  • Experience of working on external facing UK-wide programmes
  • Experience of working in the public, charity, community or voluntary sectors
  • Experience in administering a Learner Management Systems (LMS/LXP)

Flexible Working
At MaPS, we take pride in our flexible approach to work. As standard, we work on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 2 days in the office per month. Hybrid working is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement and our headquarters in Bedford will be your contractual place of work. The number of days that anyone will be able to work at home will be determined primarily by business needs, but personal and other relevant circumstances will also be considered. If you are successful, any opportunities for hybrid working, including whether a hybrid working arrangement is suitable for you, will be discussed with you prior to you taking up your post.

Recruitment Process:
