We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with numbers, people, and purpose. In this role, you’ll be part of a dedicated team responsible for managing financial processes that directly support vulnerable adults across the community. Every day will bring something different — from processing payments and maintaining accurate financial systems, to working closely with social workers and third-party providers to make sure everything runs smoothly.
You’ll have the opportunity to use and develop your financial and IT skills while gaining valuable insight into how Adult Social Care services operate. This role involves working with integrated payment systems, prepaid cards, and virtual accounts, and you’ll be at the heart of ensuring that payments to providers and individuals are accurate, timely, and well-documented.

About you
You’ll have experience of working in a finance environment and feel confident using a range of IT systems, from Microsoft Office to financial databases. You enjoy working with data — analysing, interpreting, and ensuring accuracy in everything you do. You might already have experience with systems such as ControCC or LAS, or you’re keen to learn.
You’ll be a great communicator who can explain complex financial matters in a clear and supportive way, whether that’s to a colleague, a provider, or a member of the public. You’ll understand how to work sensitively with vulnerable adults and always approach situations with empathy and professionalism.
This is a public facing role so you’ll need to show off your fluency in speaking and writing English
