We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Domestic Abuse housing Officer to join our team and support survivors in securing safe, sustainable housing solutions.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a knowledgeable housing professional with a strong understanding of statutory homelessness duties and domestic abuse legislation.

Key responsibilities

Provide specialist housing advice and support to individuals experiencing domestic abuse

Assess homelessness applications inline with the Housing Act 1996 (as amended by the Homeless Reduction Act 2017)

Apply duties relating to prevention and relief of homelessness

Demonstrate a clear understanding of Part 4 of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021

Work collaboratively with internal teams, refuges and partner agencies

Maintain accurate record and ensue compliance and statutory requirements
