Strategic Leadership at the front line of fraud, corruption and financial crime.
This is a leadership role at the forefront of tackling serious and economic crime. You’ll provide strategic and operational leadership to the Economic Crime Unit and Serious Fraud Team, managing complex investigations into fraud, money laundering, corruption and electoral offences.
You’ll drive intelligence led investigations, build strong partnerships and deliver results through asset recovery and the effective use of Proceeds to Crime powers.
What you’ll be doing
- Participating in police led and multi-agency operations in compliance with legislation
- Plan, develop and deliver the Fraud and Financial Crime investigation strategy
- Provide leadership, direction and support to all ECU staff.
The must haves
- Professional qualification in financial or fraud investigations
- Knowledge and experience of managing complex, serious financial crime investigations
- Excellent communication skills: ability to influence, negotiate and resolve conflict and present information to staff and partners as a representative of the force.
