Grade 4- £31611- £33987pa 1 Year Fixed Term Contract/Secondment

The Electrical Compliance Officer (12-Month FTC) plays a key role in supporting the Council's Electrical Compliance team to ensure statutory electrical safety requirements are met across the housing portfolio. The post holder will be responsible for maintaining accurate compliance records, coordinating inspections and remedial works, monitoring outstanding actions, managing data systems, and supporting the delivery of compliance reporting. The role also involves regular liaison with residents, contractors, and internal stakeholders to help ensure electrical compliance activities are completed efficiently and within required timescales.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational, administrative, customer service, and data management skills who is looking to develop a career in compliance, housing, or property services. While experience in electrical compliance is advantageous, it is not essential. We welcome applications from candidates with transferable skills gained in sectors such as administration, customer service, facilities management, housing, construction, compliance, project coordination, or other office-based environments. Full training and ongoing support will be provided to help the successful candidate develop the technical knowledge and confidence needed to succeed in the role.

The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.
