<h4>Engineer</h4><dl><dt>Job description</dt><p>The Civil Engineering Services Group are seeking applications for one Engineer post to assist with delivering a wide ranging and extensive programme of works including major and minor drainage and flood works, highway projects, local transport projects and road safety schemes. </p><p> You should be highly motivated with knowledge of the construction industry, ideally in the highways sector and qualified to BTEC Level 4 in Civil Engineering and have post qualification experience. A good working knowledge of highways design standards, project management, NEC contracts, site supervision, CDM regulations, cost estimating, specification/contract documentation, procurement processes, risk management and CAD are necessary to perform the duties of the post. </p><p>This is a career graded post and based at County Hall in Beverley. </p><p> The Council offers several benefits, including a generous pension scheme and leave allowance, various flexible working options and access to appropriate further training and education.
