The Raise Academy – English Teacher

Location: Halton (Widnes)

Salary: M1-UPS3 £34,069.00-£52,835.00

The Raise Academy is a new school which opened in September 2024. The school specialises in supporting pupils aged 11-16.

We have a fantastic opportunity to recruit a passionate and committed English Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and delivering an engaging and accessible English curriculum that inspires a love of reading, writing and communication, while supporting pupils to develop the literacy skills and confidence they need for future success. Working within our specialist SEMH setting, you will build positive and trusting relationships with pupils, create a safe and supportive learning environment, promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation, and contribute to the safeguarding, wellbeing and personal development of all pupils.

Working pattern: Monday–Thursday, 8.30am–4.30pm; Friday, 8.30am–4.00pm, term time.
