Job Introduction

We’re seeking an Environmental Health specialist to support our Environmental Control and Pollution team. You will lead on complex investigations and requests for service, with particular experience in noise, air quality and contaminated land, and act as the lead specialist officer in relation to Farnborough Airport, monitoring compliance with relevant planning conditions and legal agreements.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be educated to at least degree level standard in a relevant subject, with a Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control. You’ll possess a comprehensive theoretical knowledge and experience of relevant legislation and guidance supported by CPD, with proven experience of enforcing environmental health law.

Most importantly you will be confident and enthusiastic, with excellent communication skills with a keen desire to deliver high-quality, customer-focused services whilst working to demanding targets with little supervision.
