37 hours per week (hybrid working)
At Welwyn Hatfield we are committed to delivering exceptional services for our communities, through continuous improvement and future thinking.We now have a great opportunity for a proactive and motivated individual to lead the Environment Services team and play a key part in helping us to continue to deliver our ambitions and putting community at our heart.
You will be managing contracts in excess of £7million and be responsible for the effective delivery of our waste collection, street cleansing and grounds maintenance services.
We are looking for an experienced waste professional, with substantial experience in contract management and service change, as well as proven ability to lead and develop teams.
This is an exciting opportunity within a high profile, frontline service.You will play a key part in driving environmental improvements by reducing residual waste and increasing recycling rates across the borough.
