
Environmental Health Officer/Senior Environmental Protection Officer
About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Councils Environmental Protection Team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Environmental Health Officer or an experienced Environmental Protection Officer.
What will you be doing?
You would be working within the busy Environmental Protection Team and will be responsible for statutory duties related to Statutory Nuisance, Air Quality, Contaminated Land, Environmental Permitting and planning and licensing consultations. You will be responsible your own case load, dealing with complaints, inspections and enforcement.
About you
You will require a BSc or MSc in Environmental Health or a level 5 qualification/HND/Degree preferably in an environmental science related subject along with additional relevant qualifications and extensive experience within the Environmental Protection field.
We are looking for innovative, enthusiastic and confident individuals with drive and determination to join our Environmental Protection Team. The roles will be both office and home based and will be working across the whole of North Northamptonshire.

Salary range
- £42,839 - £46,142 per year
