TBCReady to make a real impact on the South Coast? We're Adur & Worthing Councils and we're looking for an Environmental Health Technician to join our joint Environmental Protection service within the Environmental Health and Licensing Department.
You'll be diving into a diverse range of environmental protection issues. Solid expertise in relevant environmental protection legislation and enforcement is essential. Experience and knowledge in areas like acoustics, air quality, and/or environmental permitting would be a definite plus.
You'll thrive as part of our busy, agile, professional, and friendly team. Collaboration is key—you'll be working seamlessly with colleagues across the Council and with external partners and businesses. We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills, who can maintain clear, accurate records and use their knowledge and initiative to achieve positive outcomes.
This post is subject to a career grade at grade 6/7. Applicants would normally start on the lower grade unless they can demonstrate considerable knowledge and experience. Please see the separate JD/PS for further details regarding the roles.
