Estate Services Caretaker – Keep Our Communities Clean, Safe and Welcoming
Love being hands-on and making a visible difference every day? As an Estate Services Caretaker at Peabody, you’ll be the friendly face keeping our estates in Northolt and Southall looking their best. From changing lightbulbs to keeping communal areas spotless, you’ll help create safe, clean, and welcoming spaces that residents are proud to call home.
This is a role where your attention to detail and pride in your work really matter. You’ll be out and about, solving problems, supporting your team, and delivering excellent customer service with a smile.
What You’ll Do
- Carry out internal communal lighting checks and replace bulbs
- Clean and maintain communal areas to a high standard
- Use powered equipment safely and effectively
- Work closely with colleagues to deliver a responsive, high-quality service
- Be a visible, approachable presence on our estates
- Represent Peabody with professionalism and care
What You’ll Need
- Experience in caretaking or cleaning services
- Confidence using powered cleaning equipment
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- A customer-focused attitude and great communication skills
- A proactive, can-do approach to problem-solving
- Willingness to be on-site five days a week
- A satisfactory Basic DBS check
A company van will be provided to help you carry out your duties.

Please Read Before Applying
This is a physically active, on-site role based in Northolt and Southall. You’ll need to be comfortable working independently, using equipment, and being outdoors in all weather. A full UK driving licence is essential, and a Basic DBS check will be required.
