As the Lifestyle Manager, you'll play a pivotal role developing our Lifestyle and Outdoor Recreation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Event planning - research, develop and facilitate new appropriate events and initiatives to enhance the cultural offer of the district in compliance with Arun District Council’s Events Policy framework, as well as creating new commercial opportunities for Tivoli.
- Providing leadership, guidance, and support to your team, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to succeed
- Creating and delivery of a clear marketing strategy to increase usage of current Lifestyle sites, along with promotion of new opportunities.
- Communicating in timely manner with clients and key stakeholders’ groups.
- Regular organised ‘Town Hall’ events with user groups
- Budget Management, including proposing budgets reporting to senior Leadership team
- Monitoring stock levels and ordering as necessary.
- Promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team and fostering a positive work environment for all team members
- Reporting usage figures to Arun District council when required
What we're looking for:
- Creative, motivated with a strong commercial understanding
- Level 3/4 qualification in a Sports/Leisure/Events/Project Management related subject
- IOSH or NEBOSH GC or willingness to obtain
- Membership of an appropriate professional body e.g. CIMPSA
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, and external stakeholders
- Developing and activating marketing and communications plans including promotions.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Flexibility to work under challenging conditions, potentially outside of the normal 9-5.
- A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace
Salary range
- £40,000 per year
