Facilities Manager - to start as soon as possible
Grade: BG-G Range Hours: 37hrs per week / 52 weeks of the year Salary Range: £36,363 - £40,777 per annum including Fridge Allowance Accommodation: Optional on-site accommodation available Closing Date: Monday 8th September 2025 We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and hard-working Facilities Manager to join our school and lead our Facilities Team. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the effective management, maintenance and development of the school site and buildings, ensuring that facilities are safe and fit for purpose. To contribute to the safety, security and day-to-day running of the school premises and site. The ideal candidate will possess:- Proven experience in a facilities management role, ideally within an education setting or similar
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation
- A wide range of practical and technical skills
- Exception organisation and prioritising skills
- Flexible, resourceful, with strong problem-solving skills
- Team player with strong leadership and team management skills
- Willing to undertake any relevant training
- An approachable professional who can build strong relations with staff, students, contractors and other stakeholders
