Believe families have the answers? So do we.

We're looking for a passionate and skilled practitioner to help transform how Merton works with children, young people and families. As our Family Group Decision Making Practitioner, you'll play a key role in embedding family group decision making across the partnership, helping families identify strengths, build support networks and make lasting plans that keep children safe and thriving.

This is an exciting opportunity to:

  • Champion family group decision making and early intervention.
  • Facilitate meaningful Family Group Meetings and support referrals to Family Group Conferences.
  • Work alongside social care, education, health, voluntary sector and community partners.
  • Upskill professionals and help embed Family Group Decision Making across the wider system.
  • Make a genuine difference by helping families find solutions before problems escalate.

We're seeking someone with strong relationship-building, facilitation and partnership-working skills, who is committed to strengths-based, anti-discriminatory and anti-racist practice.

If you're passionate about empowering families, influencing system change and improving outcomes for children, we'd love to hear from you.
