About this opportunity
Are you passionate about helping families find solutions and make positive changes together? As a Family Help Worker - Family Led Decision Making (FLDM), you'll work closely with children, young people and their families to facilitate family-led decision making, ensuring children remain at the heart of every plan.
You'll coordinate and lead Family Led Decision Making meetings, support families through challenging situations, and help them identify strengths, support networks and practical solutions that promote safe and positive outcomes for children and young people. Using mediation and relationship-based practice, you'll empower families to make informed decisions and develop plans that build on their own skills and support systems.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference, helping families navigate difficulties, strengthen relationships and achieve lasting change while ensuring the voices of children and young people are heard and valued throughout the process.
