Job Title: Family Support Worker - PASS
Salary £33,531 - £38,052 per annum
Grade: D
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
About the Department
The Prevention and Support Service (PASS) provides integrated support to children, young people and their families where additional needs have been identified. The key objective of the service is to offer practical advice, support, and direct case work to families to prevent issues escalating and requiring statutory intervention.
About the Role
The role of the Family Support Worker within PASS is to work alongside other professionals to offer advice, guidance and support to professionals working with children and their families. They will also undertake an assessment and robust planning via Team Around the Family meetings. The role is pivotal in offering consultation, signposting and allocation of the most appropriate services which will, include multi-agency service provision. We are looking for a Family Support Worker who is experienced and confident enough to work autonomously where required to ensure children and families are appropriately supported.
