Supporting the Deputy Head of Finance and Accountants this role is pivotal in providing an efficient and effective accounting service to the Council; assisting in the delivery of financial reports and other finance related projects

About you…
To be successful you will need to have:

  • Maths and English at GCSE standard
  • Good M365 skills especially Excel
  • Good organisational skills and be able to manage your workload
  • Good attention to detail

About the role…

  • Undertake duties associated with electronic records management, data input, data management, scanning and archiving of service area information
  • Update computer databases and spreadsheets, provide reports and assist in compiling information such as statutory returns and tracking expenditure
  • To undertake end of day processing of cash to ensure cash is correctly recorded and secured in line with financial procedures.
