You must be in your second year studying a Computing or AI based degree or have Financial Modelling experience with the relevant skills.

As an Finance Analyst - Modelling, you'll be part of our Financial Modelling team, contributing to key financial performance reporting, on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Your impact in the role:
- Analysing performance against budgets and forecasts across the group
- Supporting external reporting to stakeholders such as the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) and investors
- Assisting in the forecasting of future financial performance
- Developing a strong understanding of financial processes within L&Q

Your manager will help guide your development and day-to-day work, a mentor will provide extra support throughout your role, and you'll be working alongside experienced colleagues to learn hands-on, work-based skills.
What you'll bring:
- Enthusiasm for the role and L&Q.
- Computing or AI Based degree/Financial Modelling experience
- Strong numeracy skills
- Ability to understand and be understood, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently, as well as being a good team player
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage/prioritise own workload
- Good problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and grow with a positive attitude to work
- Microsoft Excel (advanced), Power BI, Python (Django framework), HTML, Java and T-SQL (SQL querying)
- Any other coding background applicable for building/maintaining a modelling interface beneficial
- A minimum of 3 GCSEs at Grade C/Grade 4 or above including English and Maths.
- Hold at least 3 A levels at Grade C or above
- Or hold AAT Level 3
