Fixed term contract for up to 2 years from date of start (dependant on college requirements)

£12.85 per hour

Are you looking for a career in Finance? Would you like to work as part of a knowledgeable team who are passionate about developing their staff? If so, we are looking to recruit a Finance Apprentice to work in our busy Finance Team based in Malvern.

This is a varied role which offers great opportunity for on-the-job experience within the Finance Team and to undertake a fully funded AAT qualification, including day release to attend college.The role will support the day-to-day operation of the financial systems for Malvern Hills District and Worcester City Councils.

About you

The successful candidate will:

• 5 GCSEs to include English and Maths at grade 4 or above
• Experience of IT packages including Microsoft applications, particularly Excel and Teams
• Good communication skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to plan, prioritise and organise own workload to meet required deadlines
• Ability to work under pressure and undertake a number of different tasks at the same time
• Willingness to work as part of a team
• Flexible and adaptable
• Creative approach to problem solving
• Enthusiastic and proactive
• Willingness to learn and get involved
