Contract: Permanent, Full-Time, 35 hours per week
Salary: Starting from £76,034 per annum (London weighted salary) or 66,380 per annum (Regional salary), dependant on experience.
Grade: 12
Reporting Office: Stratford, London or Old Trafford, Manchester
Persona: Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, commercially minded and highly organised finance professional to take on the role of Finance Manager – Property Services

Your impact in the role:
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance- Property Services, you will lead a high-performing finance team and act as a strategic partner to the Property Services division, driving financial performance, governance, and value creation.
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Strategic Business Partnering: Build strong demand for finance business partnering across Property Services, delivering timely, commercial solutions that position finance as a forward-looking, problem-solving partner.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate, build relationships and influence a variety of business partners - including senior decision makers.
- Financial Tools & Forecasting: Lead finance projects including: financial accounting reviews, system improvements, cost driver analysis, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and resource allocation reviews.
- Performance Management: Interpret and drive performance across the business, including the design and review of budgetary responsibilities and KPIs.
- Financial Governance & Reporting: Responsible for the delivery of the financial information that we provide to business partners – supporting improved operational decision making.
- Risk Management: Manage financial risks within the remit, ensuring budget holders understand and adhere to internal risk policies.
- Business Planning & Challenge: Develop an excellent knowledge of the business area; working with business partners and managers to set priorities for financial analysis and service improvement with a particular focus on financial control.
What you'll bring:
- Professional Qualification: Academic & professional qualifications: CCAB Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) or CFA with evidence of demonstrable relevant post qualified experience (essential)
- Sector/specialist knowledge & experience: Experience of working in Property Maintenance and Asset Management (desirable). Experience in finance and interpretation of UK GAAP and IFRS to business transactions (essential), preferably including audit, management reporting and business partnering.
- Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams, delegate effectively, and foster a positive team culture.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong financial analysis and commercial awareness to support strategic decision-making.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Clear communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and present complex financial information meaningfully.
- Planning & Risk Management: Skilled in managing priorities, scenario planning, and identifying financial and operational risks.
