St Philomena’s is a vibrant and successful one-form entry primary school with happy, friendly children and hardworking and committed staff. We are a member of the St Oscar Romero Catholic Academy Trust.

We are looking for an efficient and enthusiastic Finance Officer to join our school. The successful applicant will have excellent communication and organisational skills, and will demonstrate a high standard of literacy and IT skills. A working knowledge of the school's Financial Management System (FMS) is required.

The role will include the day to day management of the school’s finances. Other areas of responsibility are the monitoring of school expenditure and ensuring budgetary control, monitoring and reconciling payroll data, petty cash reconciliations, providing information to the Senior Leadership Team, Head Teacher and Governing Body and assisting the Senior Leadership Team with preparing the budget.
