Deliver essential financial support across the force.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Support Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis, providing essential administrative and financial support across the force. You will also be responsible for providing general administrative support, ensuring finance policies and procedures are adhered to, maintained and applied consistently.
You’ll be
- Providing general administrative support to the organisation including recording information on force and third-party computer systems
- Processing and recording information in accordance with published timetables
- Raising debtor invoices, debt collection and cash handling arrangements. Maintaining the force cashbook and processing banking receipts and payments into the Finance Systems
You must have
- Ability to prioritise and manage workloads to undertake a diverse range of tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of working in a confidential payroll & pensions environment
