Description

Lead the way in delivering financial excellence.

Join us as our Financial Services Manager, strategically leading to the Financial Services team and ensuring compliance with legislation and continuous improvement. You’ll oversee the introduction of the Pension Remedy reform and dashboards, manage seized-cash processes including strong room operations and maintain key financial systems to support high‑quality service delivery.

You’ll also manage tax reporting and HMRC legislative changes, ensuring organisational compliance and provide expert advice to senior management on associated risks.

You’ll be

• Ensuring the finance team performs effectively through establishment of efficient systems and processes.
• Overseeing the systems used for payment processes and submissions, expenses, overtime, suppliers and HMRC reporting.
• Implementing processes that ensure compliance with regulations and policies to create a secure and controlled environment.

You must have

• Full or part CIPFA qualification or equivalent and/or AAT qualification with proven work experience.
• Previously managed a controlled financial environment.
• Professional knowledge of tax legislation.
