
Governing Body Clerk
We are recruiting for Governor Support Clerks at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

We pay an attractive salary of £13.69 per hour and offer access to training and development opportunities.
We are seeking a dedicated Governor Support Clerk to play a key role in the smooth running of governing body and statutory committee meetings across schools in Caerphilly County Borough.
Key responsibilities include, accurately taking and producing quality-assured minutes within 5 working days. Providing procedural guidance and support for governance processes. Ensuring meetings are quorate. Acting as chair during elections of chairs of governors. Maintaining confidentiality and managing sensitive data securely.
What We’re Looking For: Strong administrative and organisational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to work flexibly, including late afternoons and evenings.
It is expected that you will spend a total of 6 hours on each quorate meeting you agree to support. This takes into account, amongst other matters, preparation for the meeting, attending the meeting and preparing minutes following the meeting.
