We are looking for a talented, motivated and proactive individual to join our Economy and Growth Service at an exciting time for Nottinghamshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Council's ambitious economic growth, investment and regeneration priorities. Working within a small team, you will help shape and deliver projects and programmes that support businesses, communities and places across Nottinghamshire.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a partnership environment, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and supporting the delivery of complex projects and initiatives. You will possess excellent organisational, communication and relationship management skills, together with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

You will contribute to the development and delivery of priorities within the Council Plan and Inclusive Growth plan, supporting a diverse portfolio of work across economic development, business growth, employment and skills, visitor economy, infrastructure, digital connectivity and place-based regeneration.

Reporting to a Senior Growth and Economic Development Officer, you will work closely with colleagues across the Council and a broad range of external partners, including district and borough councils, businesses, public sector organisations and funding bodies. You will establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships, drawing on expertise from across the organisation and beyond to support successful project delivery.

The role offers a varied and rewarding workload, including:

• Supporting the development of business cases, funding bids and economic intelligence.
• Contributing to the delivery of externally funded projects and programmes.
• Coordinating stakeholder engagement and partnership activity.
• Supporting communications, events and business engagement activity.
• Monitoring project performance and reporting on outcomes and impacts.
• Helping to identify and secure opportunities that support economic growth and investment across Nottinghamshire.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable individual who is passionate about making a difference. You will be confident analysing and interpreting complex information, identifying practical solutions and translating ideas into action. Most importantly, you will be committed to achieving positive outcomes for Nottinghamshire's residents, businesses and communities.

The role will involve occasional travel, primarily within Nottinghamshire. The post is based on a 37-hour working week, although some evening and out-of-hours working may be required to support events, meetings and stakeholder activities.
