Job Introduction


Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council are looking to employ a person for the role of Hall Manager at Stourbridge Town Hall.

This is an opportunity for someone to be part of a close-knit team operating a versatile venue with an ever-expanding programme.

The post holder must respond to the needs of the business in line with yearly budgets, being commercially minded to maximise revenue across events and bars.

As premise licence holder for the venue the post holder will manage all operational aspects of the business with the help of the Town Hall team.

The post holder must be able to manage a core team of staff and casuals, confidently navigating a team through change, promoting positivity and teamwork.

The post holder will need to be proactive and reactive in work that is required for the running of events whilst maintaining the premises.

The successful candidate will be able to manage a busy diary of events and be able to resolve issues in line with council policies.

The post holder will need a good knowledge of health and safety



Workplace Attendance: Working in the office 3+ days a week (pro-rata) or Onsite full time
