  • Is motivated by delivering policy that has a positive impact on pension savers and the wider pensions system.
  • Brings sound judgement when working through complex challenges and competing priorities.
  • Supports high performance, continuous improvement and learning through effective leadership of others.
  • Builds trusted relationships and communicates clearly to help align people, priorities and outcomes
  • Has worked at a Head of / Deputy Director level within a public sector, regulatory or pensions environment

  • Experience of driving continuous improvement, supporting professional development and fostering a culture of learning and ownership.
  • Experience of building high-performing, inclusive and value-led teams.
  • Experience of building influential relationships with internal stakeholders, government and industry to shape policy outcomes and support senior decision-making.
  • Strong ability to prioritise and manage competing demands, resolving trade-offs and ensuring alignment across policy activity.
